FLN48-12kV SF6 load break switch is a switch equipment for medium voltage switchgear, using SF6 gas as arc extinguishing and insulating medium.There are three working positions:open, closed, earth position in the switch. The compact size, easy installation, and fine adaptability to environment make the switch suitable for many different applications.
It can be divided into two types: FLN48-12D (K type single spring operating mechanism ),FLRN48-12D (A type double spring operating mechanism). The latter type could be equipped with fuse combination, having control and protecting function, which can be used for power supply and substation as a protecting and control device, especially suitable for ring main unit, cable distribution box and switching substation.
Manual operating mechanism
K type spring dual-function operating mechanism: as a inlet control unit, the working principle of K type spring operating mechanism is spring press and release.
Earthing operation: driven by the handle, upper crank arm rotates and presses spring 2 to store energy, when the max energy reaches continue rotate the rank arm, the energy storage spring starts to release energy and drive the upper trigger, enables the connecting bar to drive the crank arm, crank arm rotates and drives the moving contactor for earthing.
Switch on operation: driven by the handle, lower crank arm 1 rotates, presses spring 2 to store energy, when the energy released, it drives the trigger 8, enables connecting bar to drive the crank arm, crank arm rotates and drives the moving contactor and load break switch turns on.
Switch off operation: rotate the main shaft crank arm counterclockwise by the handle, release the energy storage spring and the load break switch turns off.
A type spring dual-function operating mechanism: as a outlet control unit.
Working principle of A type mechanism is same as K type, in addition, it has fuse striker trip function. For A type mechanism. Electromagnetic trip is also available for customers requirement.
Switch on operation: driven by the handle, lower crank arm 1 rotates to press switch on spring 12 and switch off spring 8 at the same time, to provide sufficient energy required by switching off. When the lower crank arm 1 buckles the pin and drives trigger to move, it makes the lower roller wheel tripped, and release the switch on spring and load break switch turns on.
Switch off operation: press the switch off button or push the trip pin 2 by the fuse striker, release the spring and load switch turns off.
Earth operation: earthing operation of A type mechanism is the same as that of K type.
Motorized operating mechanism
Motor operation can be added to both types of operating mechanisms, which means it can be operated manually or motorized.
Operating voltage: DC48V AC/DC 110V 220V
Basic functions and features:
1.Load breaker switch adapts double fracture, rotary movable contact structure, with the following three kinds of operating states: Closing,opening,earthing.
2.Using SF6 gas as an arc extinguishing and insulating medium, the main circuit seals by the upper and lower housing pouring epoxy resin, the conductive function is unaffected by external influences.
3.Good safety performance. If internal arcing occurs, the housing has an internal structure weak point, it will be rushed to open, followed by the cabinet above the shutter release arc red open air overpressure stream-oriented outside the cabinet, ensure that the switch cabinet security checks.
4.Load breaker switch sets gates, opening, earthing switch three at one, filled with SF6 gas encapsulated in epoxy resin housing, three-position interlock,compact structure,high security and reliability.
5.Small size, light weight, maintenance-free, easy and safe to operate.
Normal working Environment
1. Altitude: ≤1000m
2. Ambient temperature at -30ºC to +40ºC, the daily average temperature should not more than 30ºC.
3. The daily average of relative humidity is less than 95%, the average monthly is less than 90%.
4. Working environment should be without steam, gas, chemical corrosive deposition, salt fog, dust, dirt and other dangerous explosive media, which will severely impact on insulation and conductivity of products.
5. Working environment should not be regular vibration or serious bumps.
